My name is Jeff Worley and I am the Pastor of Glory Baptist Church in Appomattox, Virginia.  I want to thank you for checking out our web site.

Let me take a minute of your time and tell you about Glory.  We are an old fashioned, Bible preaching church.  We use nothing but the King James version of the Bible in our pulpit.  We believe the Bible in it's entirety, is the Work of God.  We believe that one must repent of their sins and call upon Jesus Christ, God's Son, to be saved from sin.  We also believe in welcoming everybody to this fellowship.

If you are looking for a church where you can worship the Lord the old-time way, like shouting, like raising your hands or like crying before the Lord, come by and visit with us here at Glory.  Glory is an Independent Baptist Church.  We do not belong to a big major denomination -we just belong to Jesus.

Glory has something for everyone.  Children's church ministries for the youth, a ladies Bible study group, a men's prayer breakfast, we even have a seniors group called "The Glory Glads" for those over 50.  We have a military ministry, a church library, a food pantry, and a coat closet for the needy.  Glory is a good church that I believe the whole family can enjoy.

Glory has a strong mission outreach with the Gospel.  We have a television and radio ministry as well as internet ministry, which you are viewing now.  So if you are ever in the Appomattox, Virgnia area, come and see us, we would love to have you!
