So many things have happened and are happening at Glory…… every month there is something new going on!

Here we go again...February 7th service has been cancelled due to the weather. Everyone...please stay safe!

FEBRUARY IS FAMILY MONTH....Don't miss a Sunday, there is a special message to the husband, one to the wife. one to the child/teenager and one to the entire family...such a special month!

FIRST PLACE 4 HEALTH for a 12-week period.  This is a Bible based weight loss program.  The fee is $15.00 and is payable to Cindy O'Brien or Crystal Moore.  We will be using the Bible study, "Fruits of the Spirit".

A great play "A HEAVENLY VISITOR", written and directed by our pastor, Jeff Worley.  This was a touching play with a great deal of talent on the stage and off!  Thank you, Breck Elder, for the excellent job with placing the lights in the perfect places, the sound of all the voices, it was awesome! What a blessing!


Congratulations to Glory’s Youth Department!  Their “Nativity Scene” float won first place in the Appomattox Christmas Parade.  The children not only braved the cold, but acted very professional!  Thank you youth for representing yourself, Glory and the birth of our Savior!  CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that participated and helped!

Glory's Live "Drive By" Nativity was a great success! A large number of people came out to see God's miracle! Thanks to everyone that stayed out in the cold and to those who helped inside with costumes and kept the hot chocolate going!!

Glory has a Bible Study that has been developed by the pastor.  If you wish to participate in this Bible Study contact the pastor (info at the bottom of each page) or email him at pastorjeffw@att.net.  You can receive this via mail or email.

We are in need for regular and back-up teachers for Children's Church, all age groups, Nursery Workers and Childrens Music.  See Kelly Clark, Amy Almond or Margaret Wright if you are willing to help.


Have old ink and toner cartridges?  The Youth can also benefit by you turning in those old cartridges!  There is a box at the church, so instead of throwing them in the trash...turn the trash into dollars for our youth!

Shop online?  Go to www.cvn.org to sign up (it's free)-Christian Values Network.  They will donate to our youth department if you go to them first before shopping on line.  It's that simple and doesn't cost you a dime!

FUNDRAISERS FOR OUR YOUTH DEPARTMENT....sign up your Food Lion Card with Stefanie Morgan.  When you shop at Food Lion and use your card, Glory's youth department will receive a portion of your purchase! 
     
NEWS FLASH FOR OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD…Glory set a goal of 1,200 boxes, which would exceed our goal set of 1,000 last year.  Stefanie Morgan, the drill sergeant she is, encouraged the church that we could do 1,200. With the persistence of Stefanie and her “OCC” cOMMITTEE…we exceeded the 1,200 goal….1,349 boxes were shipped out last week!!! Amazing what can happen when we listen to God’s calling!!! Thank you to Glory and especially to the OCC Committee, those who helped with our "wrapping" parties, those that brought food to our wrapping parties, for your dedication and your hard work!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!
